Firstly, can we express our apologies for the very last minute school closure for all pupils today. On Sunday, the Government announced that primary schools should remain open, only to change this at 8pm on Monday. Today, staff have been preparing remote learning for all pupils, and childcare provision for children of critical workers and our vulnerable pupils. Parents of these pupils have already been contacted and provision is in place beginning Wednesday 6th January.

Remote learning

From Wednesday 6th January until Friday 12th February, school will be closed to the majority of pupils. Learning will be provided remotely via emails to the address you have provided to school. Staff will also send out TEAMs invites to enable your child to join in with class stories, face to face discussions in a similar way to parents’ evenings. If your child does not have the facilities to access online learning please contact school so we can provide alternative work.

Free School Meals

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals (not the universal free meals for all KS1 pupils) and you would like school to provide a lunch each day for them, please contact school before 9:30am each day. These meals will need collecting each day at 12:30pm from the school office.

Thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.
