Class 6 Egyptian Day!
Class 6 had an unforgettable Egyptian Day, stepping back in time to discover the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians. The day began with an exciting session led by an archaeologist, where the children learned how Ancient Egypt was formed, why the River Nile was so important, and explored the lives of the pharaohs, pyramids, food, inventions and the lasting legacy of this incredible civilisation. Land Ahoy!
Children in Class 2 had a fantastic time celebrating their ' Land Ahoy!' topic with a special Pirate Day. Although we didn’t capture many photos, the day was packed with activities. The highlight was creating our very own cardboard treasure chests, where the children put their DT skills to great use. They worked carefully to design, build, and decorate their chests, showing brilliant creativity and teamwork throughout the day.


To Infinity and Beyond
Today Class 8 had a special invitation to attend Andy's birthday party from Woody. They had great fun at the party and were so happy when the birthday present arrived - it was Buzz Lightyear! What a great start to our new topic!


Nursery Rhyme Week
Early Year have had a fantastic time celebrating Nursery Rhyme Week. We have dressed up in our costumes and joined our Trust school to sing this year's rhymes.


World Space Week with Tim Peake
Class 5 had a fantastic special Science lesson this week that was out of this world! During our online lesson, Tim Peake explained to us exactly what it was like to live onboard the International Space Station and what it took to be an astronaut. VE Day Celebrations - 80 years!
On Thursday 8th May, Class 5 joined in with the nation to commemorate and celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day, marking the end of World War 2 in 1945. Class 5 dressed up in red, white and blue. We took part in the Big Assembly and a live lesson with Mr Dilly to learn about some of the events that took place during World War 2 which further supported our knowledge from our history topic 'British Bulldog'.
