Class 8 and the Chocolate Factory
Class 8 has a fantastic day at the chocolate factory. They created chocolate artwork, tempered the chocolate, visited the 4D cinema and even rode the Cadbury cart collecting cocoa pops and milk to make the bars of chocolate.

Sports Hall Athletics

Dodgeball Competition
Congratulations to our dodgeball team who won the bronze medal in the city competition at Ormiston New Academy. Great teamwork and determination was shown throughout the competition. Well done to all our players.

Nursery rhyme week
🌟 Nursery Rhyme Week Fun! 🌟 In Reception and Nursery, we’ve kicked off Nursery Rhyme Week with lots of singing, laughter, and dressing up as our favourite rhymes! 🎶✨ Today, we explored the rhyme “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” and had great fun investigating sinking and floating . Year 2 trip to Kingswood!
Last week, Year 2 enjoyed their school trip to Kingswood. They had lots of outdoor science fun, taking part in den building, clay workshops, a materials trail and even fun on the adventure playground! Year 4 SPARKS
Class 4 were joined by firefighter from Tettenhall Fire service this afternoon. They looked at fire safety and the dangers to look out for around the home. They were even lucky enough to try on the clothing and sit inside the fire engine.

Cricket (Year 5)
Class 5 have began their Cricket sessions with Kieran from Staffordshire Cricket. They had a fantastic session practising their throwing and catching skills in a variety of games - head, shoulders, knees and toes; around the galaxy (where we were throwing and catching with speed and precision); and had a catching shoot-out which tested our reflexes and hand-eye co-ordination where we had to catch a ball which was hit to us at random! Class 6 PCSO and Reflexions Visits
On Monday, Class 6 had a visit from our local PCSO, who came to talk to us about being good members of the community, knife awareness and understanding anti-social behaviour. We learned that being part of a community means showing respect, helping others, and taking care of our surroundings. The PCSO explained how actions like littering or vandalism can upset others and why it’s important to make positive choices. We also found out more about what PCSOs do to keep people safe

Fun Science After School Club
Our very first Fun Science Club with the amazing Super Sonic Sue was a blast — literally! The room was buzzing with excitement as the children put on their scientist hats and got stuck into some mind-blowing experiments. We started with milk fireworks, watching in amazement as colours swirled. Everyone gasped and cheered as the patterns changed before their eyes — it was science and art all rolled into one!
