We have some exciting news for Class 5! As part of our new topic ‘You’re Not Invited’, we will bring the past to life through an engaging historical workshop on Wednesday 6th March exploring The Romans led by Humph’s Histories.
During the day, the children will be provided with first-hand experiences of Roman life. They will be able to investigate a range of artefacts and the impact they had on Britain. They will also learn about the Roman army which includes making their own shield as well as taking part in battle formations.
This is sure to be an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for the children.
In order for your child to experience this fantastic learning opportunity, there will be a fee of £10 per child payable via Arbor.
On this day, we would like to invite the children to dress up as Romans – this does not need to be expensive. There are some examples below to give you some inspiration.
