This morning, Class 3 and Class 6 came together for a special shared learning experience inspired by The Polar Express . The two classes took turns sharing their own narratives, proudly reading and listening to each other’s imaginative retellings of the magical journey. Class 3 had an action-packed, fun-filled day at Laches Wood for their Flint and Fire experience. Pupils made fire and bread, learned about a variety of Stone Age weapons, took part in archery, and even created their own Stone Age jewellery! What a fantastic introduction to their Stone Age topic.

Class 3 have become true animators; making flipbook animations on the iPad's, creating short stop-motion animations with dinosaurs and even using space-themed backgrounds with fantastic props and tripods. Not to mention the fantastic costumes the pupils have turned up in!
