Class 8 have been busy learning about Italy. As a part of our learning and an end of term treat we have been having lots of Pizza fun. We had a great time making our own pizzas.

Class 8 had a great time with their families engaging in Sport's Day today.

Writing with slate. Lunch time. Playing outdoors with Victorian toys.

Today we celebrated our male heroes. We had a great time.

We had a great time today for our theme day 'at the beach'. Class 8 had a visit from the ice-cream man, watched Punch and Judy and had pony rides. We even had a splash in the pool.

Today we went on a bear hunt. What did we find? We made a picnic and enjoyed it with our our teddy bear friends.

Today Class 8 have been on a min-beast hunt.

Class 8 have been using their artistic flare to create some under the sea rice cakes that look like fish, but taste delicious!

Today we have been exploring air resistance in Class 8. We made parachutes of different sizes to see how they would travel back to the ground through the air.

Class 8 have been busy creating their own weather reports today using a map of the uK and weather symbols. Hopefully they are right and we are in for a lovely spell of sunshine!

Today Class 8 prepared an afternoon tea for their Mums in celebration of Mother's Day. The children sang songs, made bouquets of flowers and gave cards with flowers as gifts. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mums in Class 8.

This week in Class 8 we have been looking at the story of the Gingerbread Man to combine the celebrations of World Book Day and Science Week. We have engaged in role play to retell the story, made bridges for the Gingerbread Man to avoid the fox, looked at how running as fast we can affects our body and even baked our own Gingerbread Men that also ran away, Plus lots more! Today the Ducklings from Early Years made a special visit to Class 8 to show off their swimming skills.

Class 8 are having a fantastic time on our school residential.

Today Class 8 had a special invitation to attend Andy's birthday party from Woody. They had great fun at the party and were so happy when the birthday present arrived - it was Buzz Lightyear! What a great start to our new topic!

Class 8 enjoyed meeting all the animals in school today. They were kind and caring in helping to say hello to each of the animals turn.

Today Class 8 have had a fantastic time enjoying some fun in the snow.

Arley Grinch stole Christmas for Class 8 this morning after a special visit from Santa. Class 8 have had a lovely last day of term celebrating Christmas. Class 8 would like to wish all our friends and families a very Merry Christmas!

Class 8 has a fantastic day at the chocolate factory. They created chocolate artwork, tempered the chocolate, visited the 4D cinema and even rode the Cadbury cart collecting cocoa pops and milk to make the bars of chocolate.
