Class 8 had a great time with their families engaging in Sport's Day today.

A huge well done to all the gymnasts who entered and performed at the competition at St. Edmunds on Monday! They were all a credit to Palmers Cross and all of their hardork and determination certainly paid off with some truly incredible routines on the floor and vault. A super final session was had by all the children in Class 5 with Kieran from Staffordshire Cricket Club. We are all disappointed to have had our last session, however, we hope that it has sparked an interest in all and that we have some future cricketers at Palmers Cross. This has been a brilliant foundation and introduction to cricket for us and we hope to see some of the children attend Cricket Club in Summer term and represent our school in matches. Class 5 have began their Cricket sessions with Kieran from Staffordshire Cricket. They had a fantastic session practising their throwing and catching skills in a variety of games - head, shoulders, knees and toes; around the galaxy (where we were throwing and catching with speed and precision); and had a catching shoot-out which tested our reflexes and hand-eye co-ordination where we had to catch a ball which was hit to us at random!
