This week we have been learning about César Manrique, a Spanish artist and sculptor. We explored a range of his artworks and shared our opinions about the pieces we liked and disliked. Inspired by his designs, we then created our own plate spinners. We focussed on our painting and cutting skills. Here are some of our final designs.
This week we learnt about Christy Brown. We painted using only their feet, similar Christy Brown who had cerebral palsy and was only able to use his left food to create his artwork.
