Class 5 had a fantastic day with the Animal Man company learning all about different animals, their habitats and some of the dangers these very animals face. We had the opportunity to handle snakes, owls, skunks, cockroaches and lizards to name a few. We all had a brilliant time exploring them and some of us even conquered our fears!

Today, Class 2 had the fantastic opportunity to welcome The Animal Man into school. The children were introduced to a fascinating range of animals, including cockroaches, snakes, owls and lizards. They listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions and gently touched some of the animals while learning interesting facts about them. This exciting experience has kickstarted our new science topic, Animals, including Humans , and provided a fantastic learning opportunity!

Class 8 enjoyed meeting all the animals in school today. They were kind and caring in helping to say hello to each of the animals turn.

Last week, Year 2 enjoyed their school trip to Kingswood. They had lots of outdoor science fun, taking part in den building, clay workshops, a materials trail and even fun on the adventure playground! Our very first Fun Science Club with the amazing Super Sonic Sue was a blast — literally!  The room was buzzing with excitement as the children put on their scientist hats and got stuck into some mind-blowing experiments.
