Class 1's Unity in the Community Inspiration Day

On Monday 5th January, Class 1 had a fantastic time coming to school dressed as different professions from our local community. We welcomed hairdressers, doctors, police officers, firefighters, surgeons, footballers, builders and even telecom engineers into our classroom!

The children loved sharing who they were dressed as and learning about the important roles these people play in our everyday lives. We also talked about what might happen if no one did these jobs, which led to some brilliant discussions and thoughtful ideas from the class.

It was a wonderful way to help the children understand the world around them and celebrate the people who help our community thrive.
