Class 3 stepped back in time during an exciting Stone Age adventure!
We had a fantastic day stepping back in time to the Stone Age! We met Liz and Naomi and enjoyed an interactive show in the woods, with some children even getting involved.
We then became Stone Age detectives, examining artefacts and guessing what they might have been used for. After lunch, we worked in teams to build shelters and put them to the waterproof test. Unfortunately, none survived, leaving a few of us with an unexpected shower!
To finish the day, we made our own Stone Age spearheads by sharpening slate against sandstone, just as Stone Age people did when creating tools for hunting and survival. It was a fun-filled day of discovery, teamwork and hands-on learning!
