What was Palmers Cross like in 1966?

In History, we’ve been exploring how schools have changed over time, and we were curious to discover what our own school was like 60 years ago. On Tuesday 3rd February, we were lucky enough to welcome a grandparent who first attended Palmers Cross in 1966. Before their visit, we each prepared questions we were eager to have answered. Hearing their memories first hand made the past feel real, and it was fascinating to learn how much our school has changed since then.

We also explored different types of historical sources. Using old photographs of Palmers Cross, we investigated what the school looked like in the past and what life here used to be like.
