Year 6 have been learning all about blood vessels and their important role in the human body. As a team, the children created a scientific diagram to represent the different types of blood vessels.

They used red for arteries, which transport oxygen-rich blood away from the heart, and blue for veins, which transport oxygen-poor blood back towards the heart.

A fantastic way to bring their learning about the circulatory system to life!
