Cricket

A super final session was had by all the children in Class 5 with Kieran from Staffordshire Cricket Club. We are all disappointed to have had our last session, however, we hope that it has sparked an interest in all and that we have some future cricketers at Palmers Cross.

This has been a brilliant foundation and introduction to cricket for us and we hope to see some of the children attend Cricket Club in Summer term and represent our school in matches.

There are also many opportunities across the city to get involved in cricket. Free sessions are taking place at The Way in the city centre and we have many local cricket clubs to join including: Codsall, Fordhouses and Wolverhampton (Tettenhall) cricket clubs. Keep an eye out for more informatio on some of these sessions.

Well done to our winning team this week in our mini quick cricket tournament - Nathaniel, Malachi, Harrison, Ethan, Oscar and Carter.
