On Monday, Class 6 had a visit from our local PCSO, who came to talk to us about being good members of the community, knife awareness and understanding anti-social behaviour.
We learned that being part of a community means showing respect, helping others, and taking care of our surroundings. The PCSO explained how actions like littering or vandalism can upset others and why it’s important to make positive choices.
We also found out more about what PCSOs do to keep people safe and how they support everyone in the community. Class 6 asked some great questions and really enjoyed the visit.

On Wednesday, Class 6 were visited by Reflexions, who came to talk to us about friendships, anxiety, and mental health.
We learned about what makes a good friendship, such as kindness, trust, and respect, and how to recognise when a friendship might not be healthy. Reflexions helped us think about ways to deal with disagreements and how to support our friends when they’re feeling upset.
They also spoke to us about anxiety and explained that it’s normal to feel worried sometimes. We discussed different ways to cope with those feelings, like talking to someone we trust, taking deep breaths, or doing something we enjoy.
