The children in class 7 enjoyed celebrating world book day. They explored different stories, created book marks and created art work for little red riding hood.

World Book Day Fun in EYFS: Dressing Up as Our Favourite Book Characters! 📚✨ Today our EYFS classroom was filled with excitement, imagination and lots of wonderful costumes as we celebrated World Book Day ! The children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, and it was fantastic to see so many creative outfits inspired by the stories they love.

Nursery enjoyed showing their dress up costumes during their fashion show in celebration of World Book Day.

Today the Ducklings from Early Years made a special visit to Class 8 to show off their swimming skills.

Our mixed football team lost 6:3 to Bhylls Acre Primary School. The team never gave up and encouraged each other until the final whistle. Our girl's team had a 0:0 draw with Trinity Primary School on a very wet pitch after on Friday afternoon. Well done to all our players.

Our EYFS children had a fantastic time stepping inside the WonderDome for an exciting journey through space. They explored the night sky, spotted planets and the Moon, and learned all about rockets and astronauts.

This afternoon, Class 2 children explored an exciting habitat trail. We discussed the habitats of British wildlife and how they would create them to survive. Children then worked in small groups to create some habitats of their own. Later on, we were able to visit the rabbits and guinea pigs! The children were incredibly gentle and calm around the animals. Well done Class 2!

This morning, children enjoyed an adventure filled walk along the Kingswood common where we were able to spot some signs of signs of Spring.

Class 2 had a great night sleep ahead of their busy and exciting second day. Before starting any of our morning activities, the children stripped their bedding and made their own beds ready to start the day!

Class 8 are having a fantastic time on our school residential.

After a fun packed day of outdoor activities, Class 2 enjoyed some downtime in the garden. The children played happily with the garden toys and even found some beautiful wildlife!🐞 Now it’s time for some dinner before getting ready for bed.

Year 2 were able to explore the air raid shelter at Kingswood! They carefully travelled underground to find out what it was for children during World War 2. The children carefully listened to interesting facts about WW2, as well listening to the air raid alarm.⛑️

Year 2 have arrived at Kingswood for their residential trip. The children have settled in well, unpacked their bags and have started with some fun outdoor activities. Now it’s time for lunch, chicken dinner and pudding…yum!

Our Reception class had a roar-some time on their dinosaur fossil hunt! 🦖 The children explored carefully, digging and brushing to discover hidden fossils. They learned about dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops, and how fossils help us learn about the past. They even got to see baby dinosaur!
