VE day celebrations took place at Palmers Cross to honour veterans and commemorate the end of the Second World War in Europe. Thank you to all our staff, pupils and families.

Today we celebrated VE Day. We learnt that VE Day stands for Victory in Europe Day. Throughout the morning we completed different activities, including; making flags, placements and watching the Big Live Assembly. In the afternoon, we had a tea party on the field with the rest of the school.

On Thursday 8th May, Class 5 joined in with the nation to commemorate and celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day, marking the end of World War 2 in 1945. Class 5 dressed up in red, white and blue. We took part in the Big Assembly and a live lesson with Mr Dilly to learn about some of the events that took place during World War 2 which further supported our knowledge from our history topic 'British Bulldog'. Class 4 pupils have enjoyed learning new skills including sailing, canoeing and making their own fire. They have definitely worked hard...

A fun packed start to the day with canoeing and high ropes. Class 4 pupils are really challenging their fears! Great teamwork everyone.

Class 4 pupils have settled into their new surroundings at Whitemoor Lakes. They are getting ready for their first activities. We will be keeping parents and carers up to date on how pupils are getting on.
